About the Event

Mid-Plains United Way is kicking off this year’s community campaign with a BUY ONE, GIVE ONE….Drive Thru Community Feed Fundraiser! Buy a meal for yourself and buy a meal for a family at the Connection Homeless Shelter!

Join us Thursday, October 22 from 4:30-7p.m. at the Platte River Mall for your choice of a hamburger or hot dog, pork and beans, chips and a Sparkling ICE drink for only $10. Meals will be delivered to the shelter that night!

100% percent of proceeds from this event will go to our 16 local non-profit partners thanks to our sponsor First National Bank! Grilling will be done by Rowdy Rott BBQ and Quality Brands of North Platte is donating all drinks!   So, take the night off from cooking and join our cause! We are Stronger Together!

2020-2021 Partners: Bridge of Hope Child Advocacy Center, Community Action Homeless Prevention, Community Connections Mentoring, Community Connections Substance Abuse Prevention, Girl Scouts, Guardians of the Children, Head Start, L2 for Kids, Lincoln County CASA, Lutheran Family Services, Nebraska Youth Center, North Platte Kids Academy, North Platte Senior Center, The Connection Homeless Shelter, Salvation Army, West Central District Health Department Minority Health Program.

This year’s fundraising goal is $200,000.
